2025 Humans to the Moon & Mars Summit
Explore Mars is excited to announce the launch of the 2025 Humans to the Moon and Mars Summit (H2M2). H2M2 will gather the top experts in Moon and Mars architecture, science, human health, innovation, policy, STEM education, and innumerable other disciplines who will provide the latest news about and generate momentum for our Moon and Mars goals.
“We live in consequential times,” said Explore Mars CEO Chris Carberry. “By the end of this decade, humanity will return to the surface of the Moon. We need to work together to ensure that we follow up this achievement by landing humans on the surface of Mars in the 2030s. ”
H2M2 2025 will focus on questions that include:

- How should Gateway be used to support lunar operations and advance humans to Mars?
- How can innovations from Mars-focused R&D drive value and improvement on Earth, and how can stakeholders contribute?
- What are the major Mars and lunar science achievements over the past year – and what are our objectives before humans first step foot on the surface?
- How can we most effectively protect the physical and mental health of astronauts voyaging to and from the Moon and Mars?
